The Seller agrees to have said puppy:
Confirms that the puppy has been bred from the lines and pedigree as contained in the KUSA registration papers.
D-wormed a minimum of three (3) times at time of acceptance.
Inoculated in compliance with the age of said puppy at time of acceptance.
Microchip implanted at time of acceptance.
Registered with KUSA – registration certificate to follow shortly.
Physically examined and in good health.
Allocate puppies to best-suited, temperament and overall availability, taking into consideration personal preferences.
If any defect or illnesses are detected within 48 hours by a veterinarian, the puppy will be replaced by a puppy of equal value and availability.
It is agreed that no monies will be refunded.
Should arrangements be made at any point with regards to the breed restrictions with the breeder, the following will apply:
- Bith having her season (younger than 24 months of age) – owner undertakes to ensure her safety from other male dogs for the entire period of cycle.
- Male to be mature (after 18 months of age, preferably later).
- Have the hips and elbows x-rayed and graded at an approved institution after 18 months.
- Not have said dog neutered unless otherwise arranged with seller or allow seller stud rights (breeder to discuss HD/ED cost with owner) to said male puppy if the situation should arise that seller needs this bloodline to continue the breeding program of Jagersforst Rottweilers. Should another breeder be interested in using said male, this will be discussed and approved by Jagersforst Rottweilers only and owner will be allowed to charge a stud fee (as per breeders suggestion)
- Not use said dog/bitch in any breeding matters unless written permission is granted by seller and all breeding conditions are adhered to and relevant breeding restrictions lifted by the breeder.
- To adhere to the current breeding restrictions of the dog/bitch for its entire lifetime.
The buyer agrees to:
- Provide a safe and proper area with ample room for said dog/bitch throughout its life, with protection from the elements at all times.
- Have a veterinanrian of buyer/s choice conduct a physical examination no later that fourty eight (48) hours of said puppys arrival. Such written examination to be sent to Seller by certified mail within one week from said dog/bitch’s arrival. All expenses of such examination shall be at the buyer/s expense.
- Provide said dog/bitch with proper time for owner-puppy bonding and correct training throughout its life.
- Protect said puppy from any type of encounter that may jeopardise its welfare throughout its life.
- Enter dog/bitch in approved puppy socialization classes from 16 weeks of age and continue basic obedience training that follows positive reinforcement training methods.
- Ensure proper vaccination and de-worming programme as per recognised SA Veterinary association procedures for said dog/bitch’s lifetime.
- Buyer/s also agrees to have said puppy taken to a licenced veterinarian in case of any illness or injury.
- Nutrition – premium food.
- Excercise – formal excercise.
- Not to breed with the bitch or dog for any reason whatsoever without the express, written confirmation of the breeder, even if the intention is not to register the puppies. Should the owner decide tobreed with the dog without permission from the breeder, the breeder reserves the right to remove the dog immediately, with no refund of any monies paid to date or expenseds incurred and the ownership of the dog will be relinguised back to the breeder without any further actions being taken.
General
The seller gives no warranty and the Buyer will not be entitled to seek any relief, nor pursue any legal avenues in accordance with any relavent Consumer Act or similar legislation. This agreement is free of all warranties, expressed or implied. This is relevant to any defect, illness, injury, medical and temperament related issues that my arise at any stage of the dogs life.
There is no guarantee that the pup in question will not develop hip or elbow dysplasia.
